Nessa is a librarian at Joliet Junior College (JJC) and the College of DuPage (COD). She holds an MLIS from UW-Madison and an undergraduate degree from UIowa. Her practice focuses on critical pedagogy and constructivist learning, helping students find nuance in complex information landscapes. She empowers students to move from passive consumption to active, skeptical research—proving that critical thinking is pretty lit.
