Zahra Premji is currently the Health Research Librarian at the University of Victoria, in British Columbia, Canada. She is passionate about gamification of learning, strategies to enhance student engagement, and developing instructional offerings in the form of hands-on workshops, and resources such as templates to facilitate the conduct of evidence synthesis. She has supported evidence synthesis in a variety of disciplines since her first academic librarian position in 2016, including in Medicine, Public Health, Psychology, Business, and Exercise Sciences. She is also passionate about developing as an educational leader, as evidenced by her involvement in creating peer mentoring opportunities and leading communities of practice for librarians involved in evidence synthesis.
