Kari D. Weaver holds a B.A. from Indiana University, an M.L.I.S. from the University of Rhode Island, and an Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of South Carolina. She has worked in instructional librarianship across disciplines throughout her career and has been the Learning, Teaching, and Instructional Design Librarian at the University of Waterloo Library since 2017. In her current role, she oversees the development of online instruction, advances teaching culture, and explores strategic partnerships related to teaching and learning within and beyond campus on behalf of the Library. Her research interests include censorship, co-teaching, information literacy and academic integrity, particularly in the STEM disciplines.
